Timeline of Significant Events In the Belford High School Class Action:

   
November 5, 2009 Complaint filed alleging that Belford High School and Belford University are fake schools.
   
July 6, 2011 Plaintiffs file motion for certification of lawsuit as class action.
   
August 6, 2011 Belford, represented by counsel, opposes motion for class certification.
   
January 23, 2012 Court certifies case as a class action on behalf of more than 30,000 U.S. residents victimized by Belford’s fake high school diplomas.
   
October 24, 2011 Court grants motions filed by The Miller Law Firm, P.C. and Flood, Lanctot & Stablein, PLLC to withdraw as counsel for Belford.
   
October 27, 2011 Belford is sanctioned for falsely representing to the Court that Belford had an actual school building and campus.
   
January 23, 2012 Court certifies case against Belford as a class action and appoints The Googasian Firm, P.C. as class counsel.
   
June 19, 2012 Belford and Salem Kureshi are held in contempt of court.
   
August 31, 2012 Court enters $22.7 million judgment against Belford High School, Belford University, Salem Kureshi and others on behalf of a class of approximately more than 30,500 persons.
 
March 30, 2017 Court grants preliminary approval of partial settlement.
   
June 12, 2017 Deadline for submission of claims by class members.
   
July 10, 2017 Court hearing to consider final approval of the partial settlement.
